A friend on my FaceBook recently wrote, "Many people think that the Secret was new materials. That is simply NOT TRUE! Centuries ago people were writing about the Law of Attraction. Scholars in this century have written about the Law of the Attraction..."  Here is my response:

You only have to read the bible and you realise that all personal development material was originated by God and spoken through His Word. Even Genises 1, written by divine inspiration over 4000 years ago contains the very concepts conveyed in The Secret.

The Secret didn't provide any new information (actually I have never heard a speaker who has); what Rhonda Byrne did achieve though is something no other modern day presentor has done ... Rhonda & team packaged the information is such a way that millions of people who had no concept of the Law of Attraction not only wanted to know about it but they actually got the message.

All personal development speakers take the same message that was told to mankind thousands of years ago and they add their own stories and references to it (many substract the bits they don't like!) in hope that their audience will grasp the truth and live an abundant life and build a better world. And as we do, we are lifted to higher levels of understanding and awareness and act more by faith rather than by sight.

We still have so much to do and to learn!
